Yoga Shala for the community - Yoga2Give project for the needy

 

We believe that giving is a way of life and are happy to share the gifts of yoga with the needy.
The Western world knows today the effects of yoga on positive mental strength and coping with stress, tension and anxiety. Many needy deal with these factors and Yoga2Give project is the way for us to help.
Within the project our teachers give yoga classes free of charge for the disabled, people with mental retardation and Youth at Risk, and we are about to expand our activities also at institutions for children in distress and for children of immigrants. The project Yoga2Give was initiated by Miri Haruvi - Founder and Director of Yoga Shala, a senior teacher and the developer of yoga Dance.

Yoga Shala is the Ashtanga Yoga Practice Center oldest in the Israel, and is currently an active practice center, a college for yoga teacher, yoga instructors and therapists and other yoge courses.

The center offers yoga classes and courses for children and adults and operates within the framework the Ministry of Education.

To continue the volunteer work we need yoga teachers and instructors of, paid or volunteer, who is willing to take part in the project consistently.
