In the past decade research has demonstrated the positive effects of yoga on children: It aids memory and concentration, develops creativity, builds self-confidence, improves social skills, and, no less importantly, helps strengthen the muscular system and develop flexibility and balance. It is especially beneficial for children with ADHD (attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder).


What is Yoga for Kids?
Like adult yoga practice, yoga for kids is aimed at exploring the body in movement, improving body image, and physical and emotional empowerment. Through exercise, concentration and relaxation techniques, and the use of games and music, children enter a magical and challenging world where they get to express themselves and strengthen their self image.
