Ashtanga with Full Vinyasa Count is your chance to add more challenge to the classical Ashtanga vinyasa yoga practice and experience your practice in a completely new way.
In Sanskrit vinyasa means “flow.” Vinyasa yoga practice emphasizes dynamic and smooth transitions between different asanas (poses) while focusing on the breath and coordinating it with the movement from one pose to the next. In Ashtanga yoga we apply the principle of vinyasa, and this class offers the possibility to deepen the practice using the vinyasa count: a method that focuses on the precise combination of movement and breath. In full vinyasa count the teacher sets the pace, and by keeping to the count students can do advanced and intensive consciousness work.


This class is suitable for experienced students who have practiced Ashtanga Level 1–3 and seek variety, challenge, and innovation.
